Our mission is to facilitate access and benefit-sharing with Indigenous, Originary Peoples & Nations around the world and to channel fair grants and investments into meaningful projects. El Puente bridges Indigenous communities with organizations by creating participatory processes and projects that follow our 4 key pillars: Sovereignty, Education, Regeneration and Reciprocity, which supports the coming together of local communities, committed scientists, responsible organizations, friendly governments and sustainable enterprises.

  • Pablo Friedländer

    Pablo was born in Argentina in 1975, half indigenous half european. Expert in convergences of traditional wisdom with new ecological paradigms of science. Trained in Ethnobotany and Humanities, PhD in Natural Philosophy and Master’s degree in Anthropology, History and Aesthetics, with a degree in Classics and extensive field work in ecological restoration & environmental education in the Amazon & the Andes. Trustee of diverse charities, had published more than 12 scientific papers on main journals of Neuropsychpharmacology, Ethnobotany, Humanities and Ecological Restoration, 2 books of poetry, 1 book on oral epics and many cultural articles in magazines.

  • Giles Hayward

    Giles operates at the intersection of finance, entrepreneurism and holistic wellness. He has an MBA in Sustainability from the Presidio School of Management and a BA in Psychology. He co-founded Torii Labs, The Fifth Kingdom and Woven Science and is also the co-founder of The Tyringham Initiative, a center for consciousness research and transformation. Giles also sits on the leadership board of the Vista Del Mar Children's Charity.

He has a BA from Georgetown University, MSc from Cass Business School and is a graduate of Oxford University Said Business School’s Blockchain Strategy Programme. from He co-founded Baby Bundle and Woven Science and was previously Head of Africa for Diginex. Nick is a Director of the Watch Hill Charitable Foundation.
